Maria and Tuomo join Timegate

Maria as a CFO handles all the financial-related topics, contributes to strategy planning and execution, takes care of HR-related tasks, and acts as a Secretary of the Board. She has strong experience in leading several development projects and she believes that continuous development is a crucial part of a company’s success. Even though Maria’s passion is for numbers, she finds people as the most precious asset of a company.

Maria has a background in international business and accounting with various tasks including leading an external accounting team, controlling, budgeting and forecasting, accounts payable and receivables, and transfer pricing. She has an M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration with a focus on Economics and Accounting. In her free time, Maria spends quality time with her family and maintains her well-being by running in the woods and throwing kettlebells.

Timegate’s Senior Electrical Engineer Tuomo Talala.

Tuomo joined Timegate as a Senior Electrical Engineer with two M.Sc. degrees, one in Electronics and the other in Mathematics. He has extensive expertise in the design of CMOS SPAD detectors. Based on that experience, Tuomo has developed characterization and calibration techniques for CMOS SPAD detectors used in time-resolved Raman spectroscopy and now, he has the exciting opportunity to utilize that work in his role at Timegate. Tuomo's free time activities include photography, fishing, and watching Finnish baseball games.
